Dead R-15?

Last night I was surfing through channels when the R-15 suddenly went into a reset. I got the first screen telling me to wait a few seconds then it went black again. I heard the drives firing up, it flickered a few times, stayed black a short while then tried to reset again. This happened 2 or 3 times and then stayed black. I did a red button reset and the process repeated again only the blue circle light disappeared. I then unplugged for about 10 minutes, came back plugged it in and the process went through the same thing only no circle light, and ended in just a black screen. No response from the remote or buttons on the front. (except the red reset button). I am calling Directv when I get home tonight but has anyone came across this problem and fixed it? My girlfriend reported that it didn't record yesterday like it normally does either, but she could watch tv.
