Dear DirecTV did you forget us?

Way back in October 2006 you promised that we would be getting our HD locals by the end of 2006. Link to press release.

We were one of the "25" to get local HDs by the end of that year.

We are now approaching October 2008, two years since the promise. What gives? What did we do wrong? You turned on Cedar Rapids, Lincoln, everyone else around us.

Do you not like us anymore?

Calm down Gentlemen!

Per JonSamuels's post, it seems to be that you will "feel the love" in November. Us in Mobile/Pen/FWB DMA were told Dec 2006 a couple of years ago as well. We just got ours today (yea!)
