Today, DIRECTV rolled out MPEG4 versions of the following MPEG2 channels. Click on the link below for a discussion thread about these channels:

* ESPN-HD (206)
* ESPN2-HD (209)
* HD Theater (281)
* HBO-HD (501)
* Showtime HD (537)
* Universal HD (259)

In addition, the following channels have new channel assignments:

* HDNet (306)
* HDNet Movies (552)
* WCBS-HD (390)
* WNBC-HD (392)
* WABC-HD (396)
* FOX NY HD (398)

• On 8/14/2008, expecting that there will be 35 new HD channels. Informed analysis seems to indicate 12 new full-time RSN's, 6 new HD PPV, and 17 new national HD including Showtime Extreme HD, Showtime Showcase HD, Planet Green HD, and ABC Family HD.

So is TNT-HD on channel 245 MPEG-4 or MPEG-2?
