Well, if you have no reason to keep the HR10-250, they are going on eBay between $350 and $600!!

I just had an auction close at over $550!!!!!!!!

Wonder why they are so hot... considering the limited (2 year maybe) life?

I just sold mine for $430 + shipping :)

The HR20 has been working good for me for a few weeks (knock on wood...) so I figured I would sell my HR10 while they seem to be worth a lot to some people.

Upgrade???? Not hardly. At best it's a sideways move, at least until the new mpeg4 sats are in place and DTV increases their channel lineup.

Was wondering how long it would be until someone said something like this.

Captain' ya know I love ya, but the HR20 just isn't that bad... :)

Regardless of how good/bad the HR20 is (I have one as well as my HR10), the point that it's not necessarily an "upgrade" for many people seems right to me. You do gain mpeg4 capability, but lose dual buffers...etc.

If you get locals OTA (and aren't concerned with or have available an MPEG4 HD RSN), I wouldn't call the HR20 an upgrade...yet. Once the national MPEG4 programming rolls out, moving to an HR20 can more reasonably be called an upgrade (at least for those who desire that programming).
