Dish size does not necessarily translate to stronger signal, since dish engineers their dishes to deliver a constant level of signal, larger dishes usually have larger focal points for more lnbs.
Why don't you get yourself a nice 1 meter offset, rip the cover off a 500+ lnb so it will fit in the collar and you will get both 119 and 118.7 on one dish and it will blow thru the rain and still pick up the FSS at 118. Use a standard eastern arc dish to cover 110 and 61 and you are set to go with a two dish solution.peano said:Well, my original plan was to go with three Winegard DS-4061 24" dishes with DP duals aimed at 110, 119 and 61.5 into a DPP44. But now it looks like I need 118.7 and I can't find a single dish solution for that. I am trying to avoid pixellation and rain fade. If the 500+ is not stronger than the 500 on 110 and 119, I will pass on the 500+.
I'd still like to know if anyone has noted the difference.
