Has anyone that made the switch to the 500+ noted their before and after signal strengths on 110 and 119? I had an oval dish before (1000.2) and was not impressed with the compromise.

Well, my original plan was to go with three Winegard DS-4061 24" dishes with DP duals aimed at 110, 119 and 61.5 into a DPP44. But now it looks like I need 118.7 and I can't find a single dish solution for that. I am trying to avoid pixellation and rain fade. If the 500+ is not stronger than the 500 on 110 and 119, I will pass on the 500+.

I'd still like to know if anyone has noted the difference.

Thats a good idea. The 500+ LNB mount looks rectangular, so the adaptation should be fairly easy. My concern would be if the focal length was correct.
