You may want to search these threads under "deals", as there are a number of threads and posts indicating DirecTV has actively been providing those kinds of equipment exchanges. Go with the company that meets your needs for programming and gives you the best deal. You can always come back to DirecTV if you don't like the other company and they'll probably give you a sweetheart deal to do so after you have been away for a few months to a year.icr2002 said:I have been with Direct tv for over 6 years. The OP has posted numerous posts of the type quoted above, so obviously he has D10 or Hughes units, which DirecTV will probably not exchange for him.
