direct tv for business?

Hey all,

I have D at my home and we have always had cable at my business. We are currently in the middle of a move and cable is not offered at my new business location so I am looking at D.

Does anyone know if the pricing is different for business vs. residential? Also, is there anything I should be wary about installing for my business?

Basically, I have about 60 employees that like to watch TV on their breaks and down time as well I will be having it installed in my office to watch.

Yes there is a difference in pricing. Mainly the kind of business, location and amount of viewers will determine the pricing; ie back office vs showroom etc.

WOW, thanks for the links. That is quite expensive for my office viewing and employees on break. I don't deal with the outside public and don't have customers coming into the office so really it is just for myself and some employees during breaks.

I think they have outpriced themselves on this for me. I was going to have 2 TV's with HD and for the basic choice package with HD they want $80.00/mo? I am paying half that for cable at my current location.
If it is not for public viewing you can have the regular service. I think $80.00 is about where you end up with 2 HD receivers. The business package is more expensive with less programming.

Check with your accountant and see if these charges can be deducted as a buisness expense. If your cable was, then Directv should be.
