First post,

I've tried looking back through archive threads but wasn't really finding much. I had a general question.

I'm a new renter in Wichita, ks to a brand new apartment building. Are all apartments required by law to give their tenants an option of using direct-tv. If so does anyone know where to get a copy of the national law? Also, is there a form that direct-tv needs to be able to install anything.

I picked an apartment that has a building view of the south, southwest and southeast view of the sky. No other big building in the way or tall trees...its Kansas. I saw in st. louis my one friend had this pole they mounted the dish to on his balcony. Yeah I have a third floor with a spacious outdoor balcony. I know Direct-tv isn't all to drill into anything or destroy/alter the property in any way.

Thanks for any help.
