Not sure how this is true at all. Those channels live about 15 degrees from the other satellites (on 95 degrees west I think)...you can't even see em. DirecTV is launching 2 satellites next year. The first between April and June 2007 (DirecTV 10) and yet another in September (DirecTV 11)that will quadruple capacity and provide up to 150 national HD channels (not to mention one thousand or so non-national HD channels).machavez00 said:Greek, Polish, blah blah; room for all these new networks but no new HD channels? :lol:
With most things satellite-related patience is a virtue. Birds take a while to build. Launching them is a non-trivial task that requires international cooperation and coordination. You can't just throw a rocket up in the sky without notifying a whole bunch of people.
