Directv adds Wilmington HD locals

finally , no more fighting with antenna to get wilm 10 to come in

Well, what a surprise. Just found these tonight by complete chance when I went to edit my channel list -- something I've not done for at least six months. Why no email, on-screen message, phone call, anything? My locals haven't been too bad via the antenna, but ATSC reception on the HR20s can be pretty bad in windy weather so I'm really glad they've added these. ATSC on the HR20s was also very prone to audio dropouts even when signal strength was good to excellent, so again, this is great to have these via satellite.
Anyone know what the A3 designation is on the start of the channel ident? That is, if I highlight any one of the local channels in the guide I get, e.g.:
A3 Wimington 26 WSFS FOX
A3 Wilmington 06 WECT NBC
and so on.

Just thought I'd also note that the Directv website doesn't mention this either. The only thing they do have is the list of DMAs that will have HD locals added "in 2012". They have Wilmington ND listed - obviously a typo for Wilmington NC. (At least I assume it's obvious!)

Type in zip it will show you having SD and HD locals.

A3 is HD locals, or mpeg4 HD, channels off the 99 and 103 satellites.
