I called directv to see if they could offer, the promotion dish networks running of cinemax 1 cent deal. Well i got Starz for free for 6 months Directvs awesome.Great customer service.

Ok i termed it wrong its not really similar but they atleast did an offer they could have just said no and hung up on me.

I called about a offer from Comcast and D* gave me Showtime for 6 months, And HBO and cinamax free for 3 monthe I already had Starz. Also a $10 a month credit for 6 months!!!!

STARZ is definitely a better deal than Cinemax if you already have HBO. Cinemax just show premiers in different orders from HBO. You don't really get more contents (other than the soft porns) than HBO. I've already got SHO, so softporns are covered already.
Personally, I consider STARZ the best pure movie premium channels. However, I am more obsessed about TV series when I am at home. I watch most new movies on long haul flights. That is just about the only reason I don't subsribe to STARZ.
