Hi chrislsu, welcome to DBSTalk!

I'm in Bwk also. I used to have Dish (E*), but have never had Directv (D*).

FYI, I get the following JAX HD locals on Adelphia>Comcast as follows:

WJXX-HD ABC
WTEV-HD CBS
WAWS-HD FOX
WTLV-HD NBC
WCWJ-HD CW
WJCT-HD PBS

Perhaps someone on the board who is in the JAX DMA who has D* can answer your question.
If member Don Landis who resides in Jacksonville, reads this, perhaps he will jump in here with
some answers.

chrislsu, I found this relevant post in the Jacksonville, FL HDTV forum over at AVSForum.com:

Just got off the phone with D*.

Apparently the date for HD local in local has now been pushed back to February, 2007.

I have the HR20-700 DVR, so I asked when the OTA antenna in that will be activated. They gave the same date.

So much for an early Christmas present

Nick- I see you got the info and relayed it while I was away. Most of my free connection time was at 14.4kbps so I didn't browse much on the forums.

I would suggest anyone who is interested in a particular DMA info thread, go to AVSForum and subscribe to that thread. When someone posts some latest info you'll be able to get it promptly.

Personally, I don't get D* locals. I now have them on Dish but only because they demanded I get them on the 622. I get excellent OTA signal here as I can see the towers 4 miles from my house!.
