Earlier today in East Los Angeles,CA,DirecTV Mas honored legendary boxer Oscar De La Hoya with its first annual DirecTV Mas Community Service Award,along with a $250,000 contribution to the Oscar de la Hoya Foundation.De La Hoya received the award and contribution in recognition of his philanthropic work and commitment to education in his hometown of East Los Angeles.
In addition to the monetary contribution,DirecTV Mas will feature him in a television campaign giving people around the country an opportunity to sign up for DirecTV Mas and support the Oscar De La Hoya Foundation.More info/official press release from DirecTV at the following link.
