I've been getting a weekly email from DirecTV with promotions for upcoming movies. About half of the Movie Guide was for PPV and there was a section in the middle of the page for upcoming Premium movie channel titles. It was helpful to me, since I could see a movie that looked interesting and set it up for recording.
The last two Movie Guide emails have not had ANY Premium movie channel selections and consisted entirely of PPV selections. Not helpful to me, since I subscribe to two premium movie channel packages and find plenty to watch without having to resort to paying extra to see a movie sooner after it's released.
Do you suppose that they will bring back the premium movie choices, or should I just cancel my email notifications?
Maybe there is another way to see what movies are new on the movie channels?

I noticed the same thing, and like you, now find the email useless. The email was handy and I set up quite a few recordings from it. Hopefully they'll change it back.

Have to agree that the email is pretty useless now. You can click on Premiums in the DTV website menu. Select one of the choices and on the resulting screen it well show icons for the latest movies, which can be used for info and recording.
