You have been able to for a while now, looks like they are starting to advertise it more.
Directv on Demand Update
I just recieved an e-mail saying you can now download D* on Demand shows and record them to your DVR using your computer and internet connection.

Thanks didn't even know that. Just got the e-mail today and it said this:
"DIRECTV on DEMAND: Now Even Better" So I am thinking they did an update and this was new.

MUCH easier searching for shows on the web. Filters are great.

Can I record an On Demand show from the website without it downloading from the internet?
