Is there some way that I can set the Channel guide so that it only displays the channels I subscribe to? I set the favorites to "channels I get" but this is not what I want. I would like the "Channels I get" function to show up in the program guide. Tks

Not exactly sure what you are trying to get it to do, could you explain it further?

When you set the favorites to "Channels I Get" it ony shows the channels you get, with a few exceptions. The most recently added channels tend to not work correctly with "Channels I Get" so a few different HBO and Cinemax channels will likely still show up even if you don't subscribe to them. Also, "Channels I Get" doesn't work all that well for the regional sports networks in the 600s. Finally, "Channels I Get" will always show the PPV and Sports channels like NFL SUnday Ticket, MLS Direct Kick, NBA League Pass, etc. because they want you to remember them and use them.

I personally always set up a favorites list though. In the same screen where you set the guide to "Channels I Get" you should also see selections for Custom 1 and 2. You can use these to make your own custom guides. The first time you select one it will have you set up the custom guide. It's sometimes easiest to start off by clicking the "Add Channels I Get" button in the lower right hand corner and then you can go back through and de-select the channels that you don't want to show up like the PPV channels, infomercial channels, shopping channels, channels that don't work correctly with "Channels I Get", etc.

Hope that helps.

I subscribe to Choice Extra and the Sports package. What I want the program Guide to do is to show only those channels and nothing else. Currently it shows everything as if the "Channels I get" does not work . Favorite list already set to channels I get. Maybe I am accessing the guide wrongly? Tks

Your not doing anything wrong but it's just one of those things that doesn't work well. I believe I read on another thread of the same topic that its not very high on DTV priority list to fix.

As others have mentioned, just create a custom list.
