Does anybody notice the small window directv logo during the searching for satellite settings screen during startup,or is this a glitch, but reverts back to normal when the searching is almost done, I have a HR24-200

It's due to resolution changes during initial startup. That's normal....

I have two HD TVs and a HD computer monitor I use for the third HD DVR. On the computer monitor and my new Insignia 32" LED TV the initial rest screens are full width, but with my older Sharp LC32SB24U the initial screens are pillar boxed, so it depends on how your TV handles the signal coming from the receiver.
