Hey, I found the thread. :) I've been bombed at work so far today but I'll try to blog. But I may not need to as much since this looks to be a straight presentation and a PDF of the slides with all the talk points is available. More of the same from what I saw in the slide deck so main points will be their advantage, growth, high quality customers better shielded from the economy and so forth.

Webcast page which includes the slide deck: http://dtv.client.shareholder.com/eventdetail.cfm?EventID=60073

Just a whole lot of Liberty financial stuff. This is to be expected, it is a Liberty call afterall.

The schedule is for Chase to talk DirecTV next. Then they will talk about their sports properties which may be interesting for those that have RSNs owned by Liberty.

Ahhh, he just mentioned DirecTV. He said part of the reason for Liberty Entertainment doing well is the strength of DirecTV in a really tough market.

Nice catch. A bullet point on next gen hardware and whole home experience. Could be talking about Tivo here at least an update on the whole home DVR thing.

Looks like Chase is up.
Yep, I'm listening too if you get tied up ... Chase speaking ... thanks for the blogging!

Improve reliability of set top boxes, still got some way to go.
Upgradable such as a software download to make an SD DVR able to do HD (R22 I'd guess).

Largest thing coming up next is the whole home experience. One hard disk and pull up a program on any TV or PC. (MRV and whole home server coming!)

(No mention of Tivo).
