I have brand new batteries installed in the remote. When I press the SAT button the SAT, TV, and the AUX buttons flash off and on like 11 times.

Is there a fix for this?

You know I did that earlier. But reinstalled the batteries like within a minute. Your suggestion worked. Much appreciated.

What does that do that makes the remote controller work again by removing the batteries then reinstalling after this timeframe?
