Dish 6000 EPG

Anyone else seen this problem.

I go into settings and set the initial program guide to ALL SUB.

Within a day it goes back to ALL Channels.

Is this a marketing ploy by Dish?

I have also noticed that. I also see it happening on the 501.
 I've been hollaring at my kids for this.
Maybe someone is "double clicking" the guide button.

I have a 6000 & 501 @work & a 501 @home. Never noticed this "problem."
FYI: If you type in a channel number the Guide defaults back to All Channels.
I haven't seen this. The only time my 6000 or 501 changes the Favorites list I am on is if I type in a channel that is not in that List.
The same thing happens on my old receiver.
Punch in a channel number that's not subscribed,
and it changes from ALL SUB to ALL CHAN.
I don't like this particular feature at all.
Punch in any channel on the 6000 and it defaults back to all chan.

Not on my 6000. I just tried punching in an OTA and a Sat channel and it kept me on my Favorites. I also just tried changing to a channel that is NOT in my Favorites and it still stayed on my Favorites list.
Darrell, try this. 1) bring up the EPG, select your favorites list, select a channel from that list, press select. 2) bring the EPG up again and type in a channel number, i.e. 101. Your favorites defaults back to all chan. 754 corrected one bug which is that as long as you don't bring up the EPG again and type in a channel number, the EPG will remember you favorities list. A subtle remaining bug.
Thanks, Marcus, I never do that so I probably haven't encountered that bug. Also, I rarely move off the Favorites that I have selected.
