Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the temporary restraining order preventing Dish from dropping ABC family expire on Monday, March 11th?

Yes. The hearing to see if Dish can drop ABC Family or not is on Monday. So after Monday the TRO wil be unnecessary. That is of course unless one or the other party stalls even longer! The 3 month delay was E*'s idea for some strange reason.

To refresh everyone's mind, here is a news story from then the current TRO was issued: biz.yahoo.com/rf/020116/n16124557_1.html

See ya

There was another hearing scheduled for today, but cancalled once again.
A federal court hearing on Walt Disney Co.'s request for an injunction to prevent satellite broadcaster EchoStar Communications Corp. from dropping Disney's ABC Family channel has been postponed so the two sides could pursue a deal, the companies said on Monday.

The hearing was originally set for March 11 but was postponed until March 18 in hopes they could negotiate a deal. The hearing has been postponed for another two weeks, an EchoStar spokesman said.

A spokesman for Disney said both sides asked U.S. District Court Judge Gary Feess for more time to pursue a deal.
