DISH outage?

Anybody having problems with DISH this morning? About 6:35am EDT all transponders went dark on both my receivers except the Carolinas spotbeam transponders (5 and 7) on 119.

Yes, I just noticed that my locals are gone.
Looks like they are starting to come back now, although some channels are still dark (CNBC, MSNBC).
Me too..... Missing my Fox and Friends...
Yep, my locals just came back. I wonder what happened. The weather in Littleton, CO looks clear.

I only have premium movie channels. At 7:45 AM ET I checked 1/2 dozen or so at random and ALL of them are dark!
Still no picture on 122,124,300, 301,302 & 303 some times audio and so are much more channels with this same problem. (07:55AM ET)

Same problem here on the east coast......

OH BOY ... If we were currently a "merged" satellite company with no alternative, we could not simply turn over to our DirecTV system this morning to watch prgramming.

Yea merger, merger, merger :bang
Signal strength is good on all transponders which would indicate a problem at the uplink. I wonder if someone tripped on the extension cord. :(
Of the channels that I checked this morning it seamed to be the 110 channels that were dark, the 119 channels that I checked were ok. I am not home now to check.
I lost six minutes of Digimon: Digital Monsters that I have PVR-ed this morning on WSBK at around 3:29 AM. I'll just get the repeat this afternoon on another station, and, if worse comes to worse, the Sunday repeat.

Geee.... the outage on Dish are a lot shorter than on cable.

Chris, I think you have it backwards, all the core packages except some 20-30 channels from Top 150 are available from 119 and most of the affected chanels were in the Top 50 and Top 100 packages, all my Top 150 additional channels from 110 were fine.

BTW the outage is mostly over, it appeared that the Satellites were still beaming their signals but either a problem with the Uplink facilities and or a FEC problem was affecting the affected channels and tranponders; Affected transponders were 6, 8, 10, and 19 from 119.

The outage affected 61.5, 110, 119 and 148.

HBO2E was the last channel to return, that I noticed. That was after 10:30 AM EDT.

I did not do a lot of checking however the channels that I did check that were out early this morning were my distant nets from Atlanta and Denver which are on the 110 satellite's. The Superstations which are on the 119 satellite's, they were fine when I checked them. I assume they are all back on now but have not bean home all day so I do not no for certain.
