I have installed the new AT9 dish and HR20 myself. I have read the posts of how to go about pointing the dish, and fine tune it, but I can not get Sat 99 to come in worth a flip. All other Sats. are in the low 90's in the signal meter and the transponders are good as well. But for some reason the best I can do on 99 is get transponders 1, 3, 5 to come in very low like 7-0-20-0-14-0. I've made one adjustment at a time and that is the best I could come up with.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Does 103 come in OK? I think I've read here that 99 and 103 are the Ka spot beam feeds. If you're good on one (either 99 or 103) and your HD locals are good (assuming they are lit up in your area), then I think it's kind of normal to get zeroes or low readings on a few transponders on the other.

103 comes it at 100-0-0-0-100-0.

99 comes in at 10-0-19-0-13-0

I can't figure out which way to move it.

With those numbers I think you are good. Like was mentioned above the 99 and 103 are spotbeam only so you will only see a good signal on the transponders that are aimed in your direction. Most people will only see signal on 1 or 2 transponders from the 99/103 combined. As you are getting 100 on 2 103 transponders that is probably all you should be getting.

Hmmm. Just dosen't seem right when going through the setup to see sat 99 fail. I haven't figured out where my local HD channels are yet.

It's not unusual to see some of the satellites "fail" their signal test. It doesn't really mean anything. If your signal readings are high, and you're getting your channels, then you're OK.

That's good to know there on the 103 satellite.
