Dish Question Regarding Remote Recievers

Hi. I'm currently with Direct, thinking of moving to Dish. Tired of Direct removing channels we watch, and no PAC 12, etc.
Question is, after I have my home service, can I buy a portable HD Dish, couple HD Wally's activated through Dish, and get satellite TV remotely? I do this today with Direct. Doesn't cost anymore monthly except for the monthly box charge ($7). Thanks.

Both DISH and DIRECTV require all of the receivers to be installed in the same household. DISH does allow for "tailgating" ... using a portable dish and a receiver on a temporary basis. There are limits as to how the account can be configured based on what equipment you have at home.

Yes, the receivers I use remotely are installed in my home service. They are assigned to my garage and work shop. I also use them there as needed. I simply just take them with me when I to use them remotely on a portable dish.

Can I do this with Dish Network?
