It appears that I am going to have to reroof my house. If my dish is removed carefully, then mounted back in the same holes, if nothing has come loose in the process etc, will my dish still be aligned correctly? One thing it will do is raise it up a bit higher, as we are putting new shingles over teh old. Will I need DirecTV to come out and realign it for me? Or is it a no brainer as long as none of the adjusting nuts/bolts are loosened? Thanks.

Not sure about the Slimline, but the AT-9 has a built-in level in the mast. That would be the first concern when you're re-mounting it IMO. If the Slimline has the same, you might want to check to see how level they made it when they installed it, then try to repeat that accuracy when you put it back on. That would be a good place to start at least.
