I have 2 DVR/PVR 508's that I own and was wondering if they have any value? There are a couple on Ebay but not many. These both have cards. Should I just give them to the installer or sell?

If they are active on your account DISH should upgrade them to 512. Owned is supposed to be upgraded with an owned receiver, so after upgrade your "508" will have more marketability than it currently has.

It all seems like too much trouble. My two owned 508's we're "fully depreciated" :sure: when I took them out of service and use them today to keep the floor in a closet from floating away.

Dish gave me $10 each for mine. I turned them over to the installer.
