I remember reading somewhere that Dish / Echostar was preparing to offer it's own version of satellite internet service. Currently Dish offers Viasat but planning an announcement this fall.
Anybody heard any news on this issue?

Dish has offered bundles with local companies in the past, but as far as Dish offering internet, they made an announcement that they will be making an announcement sometime in October. So I'm guessing we can expect it sometime in the new year.
