When I go to Dishonline.com, I got it to be able to see my timers and set DVR recordings on my Hopper, but when I set a DVR to only "record new" and then I go to my timers and review it, it grabs ALL the showings, not just the new episodes. Why?

My experience is that dishlonline and the ios apps do not work and play well with the Hopper. Many different and strange errors related to timers and scheduled shows. They do fine with what has been recorded but that is the end of it. I now have to go to the Hopper if I want to be sure to setup a timer correctly. There have been a number of threads about issues here but nothing really seems to be fixed.:(
Yeah, that's what I'm finding out. I guess it's not a huge deal. It works well if I just want to record a one time episode...so if I'm out and about and I hear about something and I want to record it, I just log in and set up a one time record.... but I have only been able to do that from a PC. It still does not work with the Hopper from the iphone.
I just logged on to DishOnline and got a message I do not subscribe to that channel, I'm a "Everything" customer.....then it loaded. Last night I was getting a couple stations out of LA, I live in Northern California...maybe they're adding new stations...? I really doubt it.

Recently while traveling I set my DVR remotely through DishOnline, or thought I did...it did not record or even show a timer was set. When looking at the DVR page on DishOnline the message was no timers have been set. For and experiment this morning I repeated the process from my home iMac, not to my surprise it did not set the DVR to record, yet on the guide page is clearly displays a red record message, but according to the DVR page, no timers had been set.....how come this stuff has to be so hard...?

It is of no wonder new comers to the Sling Adapter and Dish in general are frustrated. It has taken me months if not years to figure out how to get it work marginally....and still it does not deliver as advertised, never has on a consistent basis.
Somebody should really take a look at this stuff....could the reps please pass along these field reports? I'm beginning to wonder if the Brass at Dish really cares if the DishOnline system delivers as promised or not...
