During clear weather, I get a good picture on all chanels with no pixelation. However, during rain that is not very hard, I do loose signal. These are my signal levels on a mostly clear night:

Tuner 2 has similar numbers.

I live in Minnesota about 50 miles southeast of Minneapolis.

Do I need to get my dish re-aligned to improve my performance in rain? If so, I could probably do it myself (except I don't have a ladder tall enough to reach it). What would I have to pay to get Directv to come out and do it? Would they do a good job of alignment, or would I get better results doing it myself (since I care)?

Those numbers do seem low but then again I'm CT so I'm not really sure what to expect for your part of the country.

If it were someone from my area I would say get the realignment.

Anyone from Minnesota who can compare these numbers?

your 99's and 103's look pretty low to me. If you dont have the protection plan Directv will charge you $79.00 to come out and align it. Will they do a good job ... that depends on the tech. I was having all kinds of issues on the 103 last year and the first tech sucked he left my house with me only getting in the 50's. The next one that came out jumped the strength to all 90's on the 103 from the 50's .
