I installed the 61.5 dish just to get CBS HD a couple years ago. (i'm in the NYC market but out of antenna range). Now that CBSHD is gone from 61.5 do I need to keep it for anything? How can I find out ecactly what channels are on there?

I have one 211 and will upgrade my other 811 to the 622 so I can get my networks in HD

Your networks in HD are likely to be from 61.5 if they are on satellite. A good portion of the DishHD package is there and (in NY) you are unlikely to be able to pick up the other 'extra' HD satellite (129°).

ok, so my HD MPEG4 is off the 61.5, so it seems like they just dropped the CBSHD feed in MPEG2 for my 811.

Not just your MPEG4 HD... Several of the older MPEG2 HD are on 61.5 as well.

thanks! I've never seen MSG HD though. I have the Gold package. When did that show up?

MSG HD is uplinked but not availalbe to subscribers. the footnotes (1) and (13) can be seen at the bottom of the complete channel chart:
