I'd say in most cases the installer brings all that stuff, mine did anyway.
Do installers bring HR20/new Dish?
I'm scheduled for a new dish and the HR20 to come tomorrow (Friday 12/15) and I was wondering if the installers will bring the equipment or if D* ships it directly to my house. I recall either/or happening in the past for my various installations.
The reason I ask is FedEx was by my house last night with a delivery from D*. The problem was that the address the driver had was wrong and the name was wrong as well, so that what I told him. But after he left, I thought about it, and was wondering if FedEx had it wrong and D* was delivering my equipment ahead of the installation.

I'd say if it was not for your name or address, it was a coincidence.
D* will sometimes ship replacement equipment when a receiver fails, but I've never heard of them shipping gear for an install.

Thanks. I was in full panic mode after I thought about that last night. It's hard enough getting these HR20s. I'd hate to see the installer show up asking me where my equipment was.
Yeah we bring all the stuff.
Only FedEx stuff I know of is when you need a refurb receiver and the installer / HSP doesn't have any.
