I currently have 4 HD-DVR's and the Whole Home Service and am thinking of having one more HD-DVR installed (even I am thinking this sounds excessive as I am typing it, lol), I see that I have an offer when I sign in on-line for another HD-DVR for $99, would this include an installer running a new line for the installation (including whatever would be needed to make it Whole Home compatible)?

Also, with all the pricing changes since the last time I checked, how much additional a month would an extra HDDVR be?

Thanks

I think there are some members here that have tat many DVRs in one room, so excessive is relative ;:)

You're at 8 tuners now, this would take you over your SWM limit, so they wold need to switch you over to a SWM16, which would be included.

The monthly fee would be $6.

Right, there should be no charge for that, unless you want a non standard install, like wall fishing.
The line would probably be ran from the back of my house around the outside of the house to the opposite side and then through one outside wall (the hole already existed from a previous cable TV install but the actual cable is no longer there). Probably about a 60' run on the outside.

So, not sure if that is considered a standard install.

Except you will need three additional lines.
Those three additional lines will come from the dish down to the SWM16. The SWM16 can be placed right where the first splitter is right now or it can even be placed outside. The new line can be ran around the outside of the house directly from the SWM16 and the other output can go to the splitter inside. There should be no additional cost for that.

The current splitter is outside so I assume the new one would just replace that (hopefully).
Yup. The splitter will be replaced with the SWM16, although they might just install the SWM16 next to the current splitter and connect the splitter to one output of the SWM16.
