Definitely not if you use the USB port to transfer recordings to the pocketdish. If you use the AV dock to record the program, maybe. I haven't tried it to find out.
Does anyone have the Archos Pocket Dish?
I recently switched to E* and learned there is an Archos PVR that will download recorded broadcasts from various receivers, including the one I have (622). This is interesting but I have one question. I may need to enable captions but I learned the Archos does not support CC as it does not have an decoder. However, if I record a program with captions enabled on my 622 will they appear on the Archos? I would assume that recording the program that way would make the captions part of the film and can not be disabled but I'm not sure about this.

As Mark points out, you must record the composite signal to see CC.
