Does DirecTV ever do anything for longtime customers?
Yes, as long as you send in your money every month, they will continue to
provide you with tons of channels to watch every month. Other than that,
since they already have you as a "loyal" customer, so to speak, why
should they do anything extra for their long-time subscribers?

Well spoken....we who are 'dyed in the wool' as it were are just that. We aren't likely to go anywhere...and DTV knows it. Thirteen years here...I've probably gotten my fair share of freebies and such from the mother ship, but I have grown to not expect anything different than a new subscriber. That's just the way it is.

Seriously though, if you havent got anything out of them in a while call up and cancel. That will get you to retention. Tell um u r going to dish cause of all the free stuff they are offering you. That should get you something free.

I've been with them forever it seems...god blessin new customers get better deals than me. 12 months with no hd or dvr fee?

I just want to know if there is anything i'm missing out on.
As long as you don't change your package DirecTV grandfathers you into your package. So when there is a price increase your increase is smaller than a new customer.;)

There is nothing wrong with every once in a while calling DirecTV and ask "is there any specials I qualify for that you can offer me?.:sure: :welcome_s
