just curious because i have verizon now and they switched our feeds to the west coast version which i hate,i prefer the east coast feeds because i can watch TNT shows at 5 p.m. instead of 8 p.m.I am thinking of going back to directv someday as i miss these feeds and nba league pass in HD,verizon only carries 2 HD league pass games per night and i cant always get my home team announcers like i use to be able to with directv.

Yes, all East coast feeds for those channels.
Thanks for your quick reply! I got some hard decisions to make, I just signed up for 2 more years with verizon fios but thinking of dropping the tv part and keeping my wireless phone, home phone and internet. BIG PROBLEM is i dont think my wife will be happy plus i''ll have to sell 2 tivo premiere xl with lifetime service.I really love tivo but i love my nba league pass more in HD!:confused:I will check back with verizion in september and see what they say about the league pass.

Just make the call when she's not home and send her shopping on the day of the install..:lol:

its always easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask permission:)
They also carry all 4 of those in HD not sure if they were before when you were signed up previously :)
Actullay i cant believe i left directv i was with them for 14 years! but it had to do with the m dropping tivo at the time ,after i spent over $1000.00 for 3 hr 10-250s. I still have 2 of them, the other went bad and they replaced with one of their dvrs which i returned when i left, technally i felt i owned that one too ,but was afraid directv would charge me for it, and decided to give it back to them because i was afraid if i wanted to come back they wouldnt let me unless i paid them for it.I bought all my tivos BEFORE directv had this leasing system in place ,as a matter of fact i bought my first 3 tivo dvrs in 2000 at circuit city, the phillps tivo ,I still have those in my garage! the worse thing about me leaving directv is i used to have lifetime service on all my tivos plus the east coast DNS channels, and i know they probably wont give me that back if i return.

The decision has just been made for you. :D

On the other hand.... you could ask this question to your wife: "Honey, I really really want to watch NBA games, and I have 2 options: Go with DirecTV for television service, OR I can go to that sports bar with the sexy waitresses, which should I pick?"

You will either get a black eye, or DirecTV service. :D

Misplaced love of a bunch of software hurts yet another person. ;)

I used to love Tivo. Until they got stuck in the year 2000.

Try the HR boxes. They work well.
