I need to experiment a little more with this, but I have a theory on what is causing one of the problems I've been seeing. On the past two weeks of Law & Order and on this week's Heroes (all on MPEG4 NBC station), at one point in the program, the audio cuts out and the screen goes completely blue, then comes back with a few seconds missing of the show. I'm not positive, but I think the time when this glitch happens is around the time I started watching the show while it was still being recorded. Has anyone else seen this?

I tried to go in to the recording of Prison Break while it was recording by going through "List" and then selecting "Prison Break" from the list. Screen went blue. I then was forced to go to another previously recorded show or watch Prison Break from 8:30 - 9:00 (without watching the first half hour.) I figured I'd catch it after 9:00 (when Heroes was being recorded.) Well, I kept getting the "Do You Want to Delete This Recording Now?" option when I tried to watch Prison Break. Smae thing happened after 10:00 when I tried to watch Heroes.

Long story short - after a 20 minute convo with D* - I reset my reciever and lost all shows recorded from last Thursday through tonight.

Not real happy.

I noticed that when I paused a live show while it was recording, I would get a slight artifact in the recording at the spot of the pause, but just an instantanious one, not anything that would last a couple of seconds or cause a blue screen.
