It has been said that if you want to swap out, there will be a program to do so. If you actually own your box, there may be a market in users that don't like the new GUI and want to avoid it
To the OP, if you have other HD receivers in your house that have the new HD GUI you're supposed to be able to get the H20 swapped out for a newer receiver that will support the HD GUI.
