I have a new Panasonic plasma, model TH42PX600U. Regarding the tv speakers, the specs say "2 woofers(31W),8ohms,5-350Hz, 2 tweeters,31W, BBE Viva HD3D Sound"..............I know Dolby can be used witth ohter then "5.1"...should I have the HR20 set to Dolby "on" or "off"....and please explain why Dolby or PCM....thanks ( I just don't understand this stuff)

DD 5.1 is when you have 5 independent speakers plus a subwoofer. Your TV can only simulate that at best. So turn Dolby Digital to off unless your TV specifically says it can decode Dolby Digital 5.1, which sounds like it cannot.

With it off then the PCM streak will decode however your TV does that, most likely as Dolby Pro-Logic/Stereo. You may have to configure that in your TV.
Thanks for the reply, Scott. When you say "configure that" can you explain what you mean?
