I don't have it installed yet but I was planning on putting a DP34 switch with a Dish 1000, I was also planning on strapping on an OTA antenna to the dish. Do I need to run another line, (4 lines total) from the dish. and then maby 2 coax to each Vip211 boxes?

scamatics? please

The answer is yes. Run the two coax's you are better off.
A diplexor can be used to combine signals outside then split them back up at the receiver, but I've read a mixed bag on this method.
I no longer use di-plexors, but it worked great when I had a DP34 in place.

I see many of the complaints when trying to di-plex with a DPP44, most people that I know that have run into the issues are not using the DPP approved di-plexor sets.

Having said this, I personally prefer not to di-plex.
