For the past few weeks or so, I've noticed random dropouts of about 1/4 sec on YES. The audio and video both drop out (burp) and it's only on YES, no other channels. When I rewind, the burp is still there in the same spot. There is no pattern, it seems random but often happens every 2~5 minutes. It happens on my HR24-200.. I will have to watch YES on my HR22-100 to see if it happens there, too.

Is anyone else seeing this issue with YES?

Yes, thought it was my imagination, but have noticed it. I thought it was the HR34.

It has been going on for weeks.......I have 8 HD boxes and it happens on all of them.

Don't know if it is a DirecTV or YES problem, but sometimes it gets really bad and then disappears for awhile and then comes back again.

And yes Sixto it was very bad during the Old Timers Day event.

I have friends in CA, MA, and CT that have Extra Innings and they are getting it also.

Glad it's not just me! Is it worth contacting someone at D* or YES to get this fixed? Not sure, other than Satelliteracer, who would be a good person to contact to get it looked into. Calling a CSR at D*, they would just tell me to reboot my IRD.

I'm so glad this thread is here. I really thought it was the HR34 or the hard-drive possibly going. It's been very noticeable. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, but at least I know it's not my equipment.

Yep i have noticed this issue as well during this past weekend when the Yankees were playing the White Sox. I thought my receiver might have been needing a reset but since other people are noticing it, i guess it is not my receiver.

I saw this "blinking" issue Saturday as well....But now I seem to be getting a stuttering effect on every channel tonight, this receiver was replaced a month or 2 ago, if this is another receiver issue, I may have to think about leaving Directv

I emailed Satelliteracer and he is escalating my report to the broadcast center. Hopefully it is fixed soon. It does not seem as bad tonight during the Yankees game but I've noticed it a few times.

I've also noticed this on YES, but it seems to being happening on a few other channels also.

I've communicated with Satelliteracer and he forwarded my report to D* about the YES problem.

His response was: "Looks like they found it. They need a hardware piece to fix but they are pretty sure they know the problem. Could be fixed tomorrow but not sure yet."

Saw it tonight at the beginning of the Yankee game, but haven't seen it in a couple of innings. EDIT - It just dropped out at the end of the third.

Latest update from SR.. there was a fiber issue that was apparently fixed as of yesterday. I watched Wednesday's Yankees game on YES and I noticed no issues. Watch YES for the next few days and let me know if you see any ongoing issues.
