So I got directv to provide me with a few credits:

Free HD 24/mo 10 off
Plus HD Dvr ebill/6mo 10 off
Hbo/sho/starz/max 5/mo 5 off
Plus HD Dvr ebill 24/mo 5 off

Then hey gave me the usual first receiver off 6 off

Anyway bill says 158.99 minus 39.82 credits + 1.68 taxes for a total of 144.67!

That does not seem right the total should be around 125. So my question since it appears that the credits were given to me during the middle of my billing cycle and were applied to previous bill will they take effect next cycle?

You're obviously not seeing something because $158.99 - $39.82 does not equal $144.67.

Any time they add a credit, it does not start until the next billing cycle. On your bill, look at the dates for the credits.

credits dont start until the next billing cycle, but im willing to bet that you paid a reduced amount from what your bill said, example: you got a bill saying you owed 150$, you called in and got those credits applied to your account, so instead of paying the 150$ you paid 120$, which is the bill you got (150$) minus the credits you got (30$ total), but you were actually supposed to pay the 150$ like the bill said, because the credits dont start until next bill

Rolls is exactly right. If you have an amount due at the time the credits are applied, still pay the full amount due

it makes me mad that you put what i said into such simple terms lol. When i posted that i was thinking "will anyone even understand what im saying" but you made it sound so simple :s why didnt i think of putting it that way xD
