Hello,

I just received my 3rd, THIRD R-15 300 DVR.
I told support that IF I received another R-15 300 I was going to call Fed-ex and have them pick it right up
as I am refusing another one of those.
I can not see loading all of my information, and again in 4-6 weeks again going through the same process
and making it #4. I do NOT want another R-15 300 unit!!!
They do not work correctly. They have never been fixed.
All that is done is that a bandage is applied to a bandage,
and the actual root of the problems are never repaired.
It is now absurd!
I actually emailed the President of DTV after this third unit came.
I am past my wits end!

If they can not do anything for me, what is a good unit to buy?
I want something that is reliable! (ha ha ha) Is there such a thing?

FWIW, I haven't had a problem with my R15-300 in over a year.

I didn't have problems till AFTER 1 year, then the _ _ _ t hit the fan!

The R22 is the newest SD DVR, and would be an excellent choice. I believe you can order them from on-line sources such as solid signal or value electronics.

I have 3 R15-300s, no problems from any of them. (Of course I shut off 2 of them to cut my bill) I do have the R22 and it is far superior.

I am curious about something. That r-22,
does it take the same universal remote as
the r-15? The RF - RC64B

Yes the R22 can be controlled by the rc64rb, but unlike the R15, with R22 its IR or RF, not both. And the alternate codeset for the R22 is code 00003, not 00002 like the R15.

I saw a few images of the back of the r22 and didn't see a place for the little antenna.
Did I just miss it or is it not necessary?

On the back of the r-15 there is a place for an RF antenna.
On the picture/s that I saw of the R22 I did not see that place.

The antenna is internal on the R22, so no terminal on the back like r15.
