DTV R15 UHF Remote Control

Most posts I have read on this subject are old and indicate future possibilities for the UHF remote. I would like to know if you can get a UHF remote for the DTV R15 receiver. Does the receiver come with an antenna? I know that it has a hookup for one. Will a Dish Network remote control and antenna work on the Direct TV receiver? Where can you buy the UHF remote and antenna and what do I need to know before ordering one? Thanks. Terry.

RF remote is not yet formally supported on the R15. Posts on this forum indicate that at least 2 of the 3 manufacturer versions (-100, -300, -500) will support an RF remote at this time - some posts suggest it does not work with the -100 model.

Neither antenna nor remote is included. Any antenna should work, even a stripped back piece of coax. I think you need the DirecTV specific RF remote control.

Search a bit, there is specific info on how to set it up and make it work.
