I remember last summer when there were two test (engineering) channels in the 9900's, testing out National Geographic, one of the Discovery's, NHL Network, NFL Network and a few more channels that were to go live on the DirecTv-10 satellite. I enjoyed the previews ...

Are there, or will they be testing any new HD channels anytime soon before D-11 gets lit up for us to get a sneak peek on?

Kryscio - keep reading the D11 thread for any info. They're still testing other functionality (BBS) right now.

We may see something pop up in 9000s, but don't count on it.

What we will see though is two channels in the 480-499 range to join the rest of the test channels.

When you see them show up, going live is imminent.
