I have an old single LNB E* Dish. I was wondering if this would work with D* receivers.

Didnt know if the LNB's or anything was different. I wanted to use it as a temporary setup only.

Depending upon the age, it should work, I think. I have gone the opposite direction in the past -- used an old DirecTV single dish/LNB to receive Canadian ExpressVu (which uses Echostar equipment). But someone may know better than I.

Try pointing it at 101 and see. Nothing to lose!

If it says "DP" followed by anything then it won't.

I think it is my original Dish I got when I had E*. I think it's probably about `95 vintage.

I'll have to look at it closer, but I'm 95% sure it is just a standard round 18" single LNB Dish. So it sounds like it will work fine for single sat (101) coverage for me in a temporary setup.

Thought I'd use it in the camper for weekend camping trips.
