I think it just needs to be reset, mine does that as well when we have power outtages.

No problem. Just be aware on the 1.99 extended warranty, I dont think that it takes effect for 30 day untill after you purchased it. I think I remember reading that when I signed up for mine.
Its still very good protection to have.
