It is how it is supposed to bepackethauler said:This is more of an informational post than anything. I live in the Twin Cities area in MN and have had the chance to compare D* and E* directly. (I've been a Dish customer for about a month now). My in-laws have D* with HD service and live about a mile from me and they have the D* H21 receiver. I've had the chance to go back and forth and look at PQ between our 2 services, they have a Sony Bravia LCD which is a step up from the RP TVs that I currently own. The PQ when viewing ESPN, CBS, NBC are all identical between our 2 services, both had macro-blocking and image tearing at the same spots. We had a big rain-storm last night, and signals for both our homes were lost at roughly the same time.
This not only re-affirms my decision to purchase the E* service, but I'm glad to know that I'm saving quite a bit of money per month for the same programming.I've been very happy with E*, my installation went off without any problems, and they got my bill right the first time. That's how it's supposed to be right? I'm glad I cut the coax, no turning back now!
