So... If you completely disconnect the TV from the HR20.
Unplug the TV (so it can fully reset internally)...

Then connect just the OTA signal to the TV (disconnect it from the HR20 as well)... So basically the TV has ZERO connection to the HR20...

If the problem continues.... that is most definently a Mitsubishi issue.
There is no logical, or even far-fetched reason why DirecTV could even provide an update or something to your TV.
