Real men don't RTFM, anyway. Lordy, that's worse than asking directions.:grin:Bay CIty said:Mellomindbender's gathered info should be the manual and that piece of crap that Directv calls a manual should be thrown away
Sadly, I had to RTFM. The interface wasn't intuitive enough, either that or I've been using Tivo too long. Even after a few months use, I have to pause and think how to do certain operations. I still find it odd that Search is at the bottom of the Menu key menu.Howie said:Real men don't RTFM, anyway. Lordy, that's worse than asking directions.
You can take that to the bank, short of last minute "time/space continuum anomalies".Bay CIty said:Maybe Earl should replace "very soon" with this "I know and I`m not telling"
Real men do read the manual (as long as the manual is well written) maybe some of the problems people are having is because they did not read itHowie said:Real men don't RTFM, anyway. Lordy, that's worse than asking directions.
A 1.5 QB rating is like taking a test in school, and spelling your name correctly.hasan said:(I'm still astounded at a 1.5 quarterback rating...that has to be some sort of record)
Remember Cade McKnown? We're still trying to forget......hasan said:And to think I used to hold Bob Avallini in low regard![]()

If it isn't, I can still set it!hasan said:(I'm still astounded at a 1.5 quarterback rating...that has to be some sort of record)
Detroit has a football team?jaywdetroit said:No one in Chicago gets to complain about their football team until they have walked a mile in a Detroit Fan's shoes.![]()
Wasn't it 1.3? It was 0.0 at one point in the game, per the radio play-by-play people up here in Vikings-land. So, just think of it this way, he improved by an infinite margin by the end of the game!hasan said:(I'm still astounded at a 1.5 quarterback rating...that has to be some sort of record)
There is a reason why we let the Lions still in the division...jaywdetroit said:No one in Chicago gets to complain about their football team until they have walked a mile in a Detroit Fan's shoes.![]()
I hear Matt Millon is looking for work in the Chicago area. Maybe he can get the Sox back on track.Earl Bonovich said:There is a reason why we let the Lions still in the division...
As a Lions fan, I can only say the only way thing can go for us is up,kind of like the HR-20 things can only get better.Earl Bonovich said:There is a reason why we let the Lions still in the division...
Nope. Jeff Garcia had a 0.0 for the Browns against Dallas when K2 broke his leg.hasan said:(I'm still astounded at a 1.5 quarterback rating...that has to be some sort of record)
Yeah, I'll guess you'll have to console yuorself with all those Red Wings, Tigers, and Pistons championships, just like the whiner Red Sox fans had to live with only a few dozen compbined Patriots and Celtics trophies.jaywdetroit said:No one in Chicago gets to complain about their football team until they have walked a mile in a Detroit Fan's shoes.![]()
